Alderson Middle School Teachers Train For Laptop Technology - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

By the Fall of 2006, every 6th grader at Alderson Middle school will have a laptop computer to take home.

The first phase of the new computer initiative got underway Tuesday with training for Alderson teachers. The teachers are learning to use laptop technology in the classroom. Eventually students will have their own laptops to do computer based homework.

The program is a partnership between Lubbock ISD and classroom connect.
