Martin's Mayoral Campaign Leaves District Five Seat Open - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Tom Martin's decision to run for mayor will leave a vacancy in City Council District 5 when his term ends next year.

One man says he is already interested in that job. Newschannel 11 spoke with John Leonard III Wednesday afternoon. He says he has filed a treasurer for his campaign and will be running for that city council seat in 2006.
