Food for Thought 6.16
Here is a complete list of the restaurants and their violations for the week ending on 6/16/05.

You all know him for his antics on Streets of Speed and for the occasional stint on Food for Thought. From peed zappin' to belly tappin' photographer John Berry does it all at NewsChannel 11 and he's got two handsome sons Jonathan and Taylor. John's favorite places to go on father's day are: Furr's Cafeteria on South Loop 289, Red Lobster on 50th Street, and Bryan's Steakhouse on 50th Street.

Now for the newest dad at NewsChannel 11. Sports Director Pete Christy works up a hearty appetite during all those "I Beat Pete" sports challenges, and chances are little baby Bella is going to give him an even bigger run for his money! He may have to wait a few years before Bella can afford to take him, but Pete's favorite restaurants are: Cagle Steaks at 4th and Inler outside the city, Texas Land and Cattle on the South Loop and Flatlanders on Broadway. If Pete wants to go to any of the three on Father's Day, it'll have to be Texas Land and Cattle, Cagles and Flatlanders are closed Sunday.

Lubbock's favorite weatherman may be tall and thin, but trust us, John Robison knows a thing or two about pleasing his tastebuds. When he's not tracking tornados and hail storms, you can find this dad spending time with his son Jason. Whether it's rain or shine, here's John's tummy pleasers: The 50 Yard Line on the South Loop (but it is closed Sunday,) Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant on 82nd and J&M Bar-B-Que (the Slide location will be open Sunday.) Oh, and John has a sweet tooth... for dessert he wants to go to Krispy Kreme!

For decades you've been tuning in to get your news from him and he may be a hard nosed journalist but Abner Euresti has a soft spot for his two girls, twins Kirsten and Kelsea. Abner is not big on eating out, but he likes BBQ and Mexican food and if he has to choose favorites they are: Rosa's Cafe, Bigham's BBQ and, when he's busy on the go, the golden arches of McDonald's.
