1 hospitalized after being extracted from excavator Wednesday afternoon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

One person has been hospitalized after being trapped in an excavator this afternoon here in Lubbock.

This happened at 7702 North Avenue P around 3 p.m.

The victim was extricated and taken to the hospital.

Lubbock Fire Rescue, EMS and New Deal Fire all were on the scene.

No further details, including the victim's name and condition, have been released as of Wednesday evening.
