Free Prostate Cancer Screenings

Free prostate cancer screenings were offered Saturday. The screenings took place at the Southwest Cancer Treatment and Research Center. American Cancer Society suggests that all men over the age of 50 be tested annually.

Others who are at a greater risk, including African Americans and those who have a family history of cancer, should be tested by age 45. The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and UMC sponsored the event.
