Lubbock man killed in motorcycle crash near 4th & Q

LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

Police say 45-year-old Michael Castellano died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday.

Friends say he went by the nickname "Zero."

The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday near 4th Street and Avenue Q.

Investigators say Castellano was headed north on Avenue Q when he struck the concrete median and was thrown from his motorcycle.

He died at the scene.

Police are still investigating the crash.
