No. 4 Red Raider baseball sweeps Texas in Austin

AUSTIN, TX (KCBD) -

For the first time since 1999, the Texas Tech baseball team has started conference play 3-0 as the 4th-ranked Red Raiders completed the three-game sweep of No. 21, Texas winning 8-5 on Sunday afternoon.

Since 2012, the visiting team has won this series. Texas Tech is now 17-4 overall and 3-0 in the Big XII.

Tech steps out of conference play next week hosting UNLV Tuesday and Wednesday and visiting Wichita State next weekend.
