HENRIETTA, TX (KAUZ) -

A 21-year-old Texas woman has called Robert Blevins “Daddy” since she was a little girl. Sunday, she asked him to make the title official.

Serenity McNett surprised her step-father with adoption papers while the family was gathered together in Henrietta, TX.

As he read the letter, Blevins bowed his head and wiped away tears.

McNett said Blevins has been her daddy since her biological father left when she was 5 years old.
