LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The man who police say prompted a neighborhood lockdown last month has been indicted by a Lubbock County grand jury.

Joshua Ryan, 26, is charged with aggravated assault. Police say he shot 25-year-old Michael Flores in the arm. It happened in mid-February at a home near 63rd and Elkhart.

For at least two and a half hours police and the SWAT team had several blocks on lockdown as they searched for Ryan and any other victims.

Ryan is now charged with aggravated assault as well as felon in possession of a firearm.

He has been released on a $65,000 bond.
