Atmos repairing gas line in 4800 block of 62nd

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Atmos technicians are repairing a pipeline accidentally hit by a City of Lubbock maintenance crew on Wednesday.

Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to the gas leak in the 4800 block of 62nd on Wednesday afternoon.

Service to 49 homes was disrupted. Atmos says the affected houses are on the South side of 61st street and the North side of 62nd street from Utica to Wayne.

Atmos will be going door to door to restore service.
