Lyft launching in the Hub City, Thursday at noon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lyft is launching in the Hub City on Thursday.

Beginning at noon, residents can use the ride-sharing service through their smartphone app.

Lyft is expanding to more Texas cities, including Abilene, College Station, Laredo, Midland, San Angelo, Tyler and Victoria.

Lyft is currently available in more than 300 U.S. cities.
