Lubbock police find suspect hiding in bushes after motorcycle chase

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Officers with the Lubbock Police Department found the driver who led police on a chase Monday afternoon.

The chase started at 50th Street and Boston Ave. Officers attempted to pull over the motorcycle for a traffic violation of speeding through a residential neighborhood.

The driver bailed from the motorcycle near 65th and Ave. U and witnesses saw the suspect running.

When officers checked the license plate from the motorcycle left behind, they discovered the motorcycle was listed as stolen.

The officers found the suspect hiding in some bushes and took him into custody. His name has not been released.
