LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

At least three vehicles were severely damaged and a suspect is still on the run after the Lubbock Police Department chased a reckless driver during a short pursuit.

LPD says the pursuit began at 2 a.m. Saturday.

This photo shows one car essentially missing the front of it, it was sent in by one of KCBD's producers.

LPD tells KCBD that the chase began in the 1700 block of 17th street and wound through the streets a few blocks away to 22nd street.

No injuries were reported in all of the crashes. However, the accident investigation team was called out because of the severity of the damage. Police were unable to find the driver and do not have a suspect description to release.
