Local worship band recording live album this week

This week a local group will be live recording an album they've been working on for a year and a half. Pursue Worship is a worship band that describes themselves as a family of dreamers and doers leading the world in worship.

Daniel Hernandez is the marketing director for pursue worship and works with Church On The Rock, he told KCBD what the process has been like to get the album to where it is now and how the community is invited to be a part of the LIVE recordings this week.

On April 7th and 8th the band will be recording 10 songs that best represent what they want to share with Lubbock and the world. Pre-registration tickets are $10 online, and $12 at the door. The concert will be at 7:00 each night at Church On The Rock located at 10503 Slide Rd, Lubbock. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

The Pursue Worship album will be produced by Gabriel Wilson and Dan Mackenzie, those producers have worked on the last three Bethel Music albums. Hernandez says the upcoming album was crowdfunded on KickStarter, raising more than $70,000.
