LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The KCBD Investigative Team has new details on a massive drug bust.

Narcotics investigators with the Lubbock Police Department said the raids turned up one of the largest quantities of methamphetamine ever seized by the department.

After an investigation spanning several months, the Lubbock Police Department's narcotics investigators served warrants at two Lubbock homes.

On Thursday, they searched a home in the 1700 block of Avenue R and a second home in the 5300 block of 31st Street.

Narcotics investigators reported finding a large quantity of meth and illegal firearms.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Daniel Botello.

The Lubbock Police Department said they turned the case over to the ATF and the U.S. Attorney's Office.
