Two juvenile suspects in custody after police chase

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Two juvenile suspects are now in custody after a police chase on Wednesday afternoon.

Lubbock police tell us a witness observed two males breaking a window at a home in the 600 block of N. Durant Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say when officers arrived, the suspects began jumping fences and running away. One of the suspects was immediately apprehended while the second suspect continued running from officers.

Officers set up a perimeter around the area to catch the second suspect. As officers searched an alley off North Essex Avenue, the second suspect was found hiding in a dumpster.

The suspects, both juvenile, were arrested and transported to the LCJJC.
