45 people arrested across West Texas in multi-agency operation

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) led a two-week multi-agency operation that resulted in the arrest of 45 suspects in Lubbock, Abilene, Amarillo and Wichita Falls. 

The operation focused on the arrest of wanted fugitives in the Lubbock region.

During the operation, law enforcement officials seized five weapons, a goose-neck trailer, two vehicles, a motorcycle, 14 grams of methamphetamine and two grams of cocaine.

DPS Special Agents were assisted by the DPS Highway Patrol, Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, South Plains Auto Theft Task Force, Lubbock Independent School District Police Department, Hockley County Sheriff’s Office, Terry County Sheriff’s Office, Garza County Sheriff’s Office, Potter County Sheriff’s Office, Randall County Sheriff’s Office, Gray County Sheriff’s Office, Amarillo Police Department, Wichita Falls Police Department and United States Marshals Service.
