6-Year-Old Remains In Critical Condition Following Tuesday Collision

A 6-year-old boy remains in critical condition Wednesday night after Lubbock Police say the driver he was with, ran a red light and caused an accident.

It happened just before 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at 4th Street and Avenue A. Police say a blue SUV broad sided Kathy Acy's car when she ran a red light.

No one was seriously injured except for the child, Monroe Jennings, who was inside Acy's car. He remains at UMC.
