Randal Co. Sheriff's Office
Rick Roach is back in the news again. You'll remember he was the former Panhandle District Attorney sent to prison on a drug-related weapons charge in early June. Now he is indicted in Gray County for another state charge - aggravated perjury.
On June 10th, Roach signed an affidavit saying he was indigent meaning he owned no land, vehicles or assets. But, a special prosecutor found Roach does own land in Roberts County, has a title to a pickup, has retirement accounts and has a valuable antique coin collection. Roach is currently serving a five year prison term for the drug-related weapons charge.
