Littlefield Petition Bring Alcohol Sales To Vote - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

It appears Littlefield voters will have another chance to decide if they want alcohol sold within the city limits.

The Littlefield Tax Assessor confirmed Wednesday a petition had enough signatures to bring the issue to a vote. The petition required 1,328 signatures. County commissioners will set a November election date on Monday. At that time, voters will decide whether or not to legalize the sale of alcoholic beverages in Littlefield.

A similar election failed there last September by just 27 votes.
