Hookah Lounge shooter still on the run

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Officers from the Lubbock Police Department are searching for a suspect in a shooting that happened on Friday night.

The shooting occurred at Rabi's Hookah Lounge at 1717 Texas Ave., according to a LPD police report. Witnesses say the suspect got into a verbal altercation with a bar patron, then pulled out a revolver and began shooting in the bar.

Three people in the lounge were shot and transported to University Medical Center and Covenant Hospital, according to the report. The suspect fled the scene and is still on the run as of Sunday night.

As of now there is no description of the suspect. KCBD will update this story as more information becomes available.
