Dawson County sexual assault suspect captured in Brownsville

DAWSON COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

The Dawson County Sheriff's Office tells us a sexual assault suspect has been captured.

The Texas Rangers arrested Jose Guadalupe Pena in Brownsville.

He is wanted in connection with a sexual assault near Lamesa on March 21.

The victim told police that Pena pretended to be a utility worker to get her to let him in her home.
