LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Next week is Luke Siegel's 11th birthday, so the Team Luke Foundation, along with McGavock Nissan and Cardinal's has organized a celebration and fundraiser, hoping  people will donate a dollar or a birthday buck in honor of Luke.

Team Luke's Meredith Wilemon explains, "This week from the 13th to the 20th of April we're going to be doing birthday bucks for Luke."

Your dollars will be going to the Team Luke Foundation to help families of children with brain injuries.

Luke's father, Tim Siegel says, "The Team Luke Foundation's mission is to help families emotionally, financially that have suffered these types of injuries.

Donations can be made at McGavock Nissan, Cardinal's and the Team Luke Foundation website.
