LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

19-year-old Kaeden Taylor of Morton is behind bars tonight, charged with evading police and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after a five-minute motorcycle chase.

Taylor was on a motorcycle when Texas DPS tried to stop him at around 6:40 p.m. at 98th & Avenue P, but he evaded troopers and Lubbock police officers until he lost control of the vehicle around 82nd and Avenue S.

Troopers say Taylor ran from police on foot but was caught around the residential area and taken into custody without incident.

They say Taylor was not injured and the motorcycle was reported as stolen to Lubbock police.

He has also been charged with unlawful restraint, burglary and evading on foot.
