No. 6 Red Raiders beat Kansas State

MANHATTAN, KS (KCBD) -

After losing the series opener, No. 6 Texas Tech rebounded to knock off Kansas State 7-4 Friday night.

The Red Raiders had 13 hits and Steven Gingery moved to 7-0 on the year as he went six 2/3 innings allowing 4 runs on 4 hits while striking out 10.

Hunter Hargrove and Orlando Garcia each had 3 hits.

Cody Farhat and Michael Davis both hit home runs.

Texas Tech moves to 30-8 on the year and 7-4 in the Big 12. The rubber match of the series is 2 p.m. Saturday.
