Colorado City man killed in Tuesday morning wreck

MITCHELL COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

A Colorado City man has been killed in a Tuesday morning crash in Mitchell County.

Texas DPS tells us 55-year-old Samuel Manuel Lujan of Colorado City was driving east on IH-20 near Westbrook around 8 a.m. when the vehicle drove straight through a curve in the roadway near a bridge.

The vehicle slid up a concrete barrier, rolled over to its left and rolled off the bridge. It then struck a concrete embankment.

DPS tells us Lujan was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. This crash is under investigation.

    Highway 87 from 114th Street to 82nd Street was shut down early Wednesday morning for an investigation of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian. Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Brodrick Lamar Green.
