26-year-old Skylar Deshawn Ussery was indicted on Tuesday, charged with evading in a vehicle after leading police on a chase back on March 13.

Police say a license plate light was out and Ussery was being pulled over as part of a routine traffic stop.

The chase started in the 1500 block of 34th Street and ended at the Boston Creek Apartments in the 2700 block of 44th Street when he hit a chain-link fence.

Ussery ran but was taken into custody.

He is being held on a $3,000 bond.
