Governor Perry Coming to Lubbock on School Finance Plan Tour

Governor Rick Perry's three-day tour across Texas will bring him to Lubbock this Saturday. We told you the governor is traveling to 11 cities to try to gain support for his school finance plan.

The issue currently has Texas legislators in a special session. Governor Perry's proposal includes a higher sales tax, a pay raise for teachers and a cut in property taxes.
