TAHOKA, TX (KCBD) -

The City of Tahoka will be connecting new water lines to existing water lines this Thursday, April 20th.

The water will be turned off at 9:00 am and will be off for approximately one to two hours. The city will also issue a Boil Water Notice at this time, until samples can be taken to the laboratory and be cleared.

The first work will be at the intersection of North 6th Street and Avenue J. Contractors will be preparing the intersection on Wednesday to get ready for the construction. The intersection will be blocked off with barricades, so they ask that drivers avoid the area until work is complete.

If you have any questions you're asked to contact Tahoka City Hall at (806) 561-4211.
