Friday, the firework stands across Lubbock County opened for business. So remember, a city ordinance strictly prohibits the possession of fireworks inside the city limits. That includes anything that is explosive - even sparklers. You are allowed to set off fireworks in the county. Although, police suggest you get permission from the property owner first.
