Legacy Play Village Opens Despite Damage From Fire - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The gates of Legacy Play Village are open again. This after the park came close to ruin Thursday.

Around 2 o'clock Thursday morning, fire destroyed a building out there referred to as 'the barn'. It housed offices, restrooms, and a concession stand. Luckily, the playground itself was not damaged.

Legacy Play Village was built by the community three years ago. Now, organizers are counting on the community, again, to help rebuild the barn adjacent to the playground.
