LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The fourth-ranked Texas Tech baseball team is gearing up for a tough schedule ahead.

The Red Raiders are about to play eight games, in a 10-day stretch. Six out of the eight games will be played at Dan Law Field at RIP Griffin Park.

Here is what Texas Tech head baseball coach Tim Tadlock had to say about the mindset the team needs heading into this weekend.

"Probably the biggest thing is, to continue to get a little bit better. Put your work in, and prepare the right way and just let the chips fall where they may," Head Coach Tim Tadlock said. "One thing you can't do, is win a Big XII championship tomorrow. I mean, you can do that. We are by no means a finished product, and I don't think anyone is. So, we need to continue to get a little bit better."

Friday and Saturday's games are already sold out, but tickets are still available for Sunday's contest.

First pitch for Friday's game is at 6:30 p.m., while the final two games of the series are slated to start at 2 p.m.

All three games will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.
