J.K. Hester hired as new Loop Head Football Coach

LOOP, TX (KCBD) -

J.K. Hester was approved by the school board Thursday night as Loop's new Head Football Coach.

Hester is a veteran six-man coach. Last season he coached the Cotton Center Elks.

Prior to that he was on the staff at Happy. Hester has also been the head coach at Spur, Lazbuddie and New Home.

He's excited about taking over in Loop. The Longhorns went 4-5 under Sean Lewis last season.

    Texas Tech seniors Reginald Davis III and Ondre Pipkins signed NFL free agent deals Saturday night as Pipkins agreed to terms with the Washington Redskins while Davis is heading to the Atlanta Falcons.
