LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Starting Monday, April 24th, the traffic signals at 98th Street and U.S. Highway 87 (Tahoka Highway) will be reactivated to green-yellow-red mode, assigning right-of-way to users.

The vehicle detection systems at the interchange have been upgraded to reduce delays in the area.

There are still work zones on 98th Street at U.S. Highway 87. The City of Lubbock is encouraging drivers to use caution in work zones and seek alternate routes when possible.
