Community Helps Build a House for Terminally Ill Mother of Three
A Lubbock community is joining together to help a mother of three who was diagnosed with terminal cancer four months ago. A fundraiser concert was held last week for Gloria Rodriguez. Gloria suffers from terminal gastric cancer. The Levi Ministries here in Lubbock raised money to help build the Rodriguez family a home. They broke ground on the house 10 days ago, and now they're already ahead of schedule. Volunteer days will be held the next four or five Saturdays at 509 East 78th street. Or you can call Levi Ministries at 793-2897.
