1 in custody, 1 on the run after police chase across two counties

LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

One suspect is in custody and authorities are still looking for another after a high-speed chase that ran from Lubbock to Crosby County.

DPS attempted to stop two people in a Buick for a violation at 7:42 p.m. at 98th & US 87. The chase ended in Crosby County at FM 378, several miles south of FM 40.

The driver, 28-year-old Leslie Overstreet of Lubbock, now in custody, is wanted for parole violations related to burglary of a habitation in Lubbock County.

The passenger jumped out of the vehicle at 98th and MLK and has not been located as of Sunday night.
