LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lloyd Maines, Sonny Curtis and Joe Ely, all in one place? That's a musical performance you can't miss at Thursday's Lubbock Lights event at Texas Tech.

The event celebrates the music and artistic culture of the South Plains.

Singer-songwriters Lloyd Maines, Sonny Curtis and Joe Ely will take the stage to perform together.

Joe Ely said, "I'm looking forward to getting together with everybody here...telling stories. It's always interesting when you might have heard a song...different perspective."

Lubbock Lights is Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Allen Theatre in the Student Union Building on Texas Tech campus.

General admission tickets are $23.
