Semi Rear Ends Car Leaving 80-Year-Old Injured

An 80-year-old man is being treated at University Medical Center after his Cadillac was rear-ended by a semi-truck southeast of Lubbock.

Witnesses say the driver of a tractor-trailer ran into the back of a Cadillac on Highway US 84 around 9:45am Monday. The collision happened about five miles outside of Lubbock.

Aerocare flew the victim to UMC where his injuries were considered moderate.
