Lubbock Grand Jury Declines Indictment Of Monterey Teacher - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A former Monterey High School teacher will not go to trial.

A Lubbock Grand Jury declined to indict Matthew Charles Hill on charges of injury to a child. Two boys accused the 33-year-old teacher of assaulting them on April 16th. The 14-year-old boys were reportedly ringing the teacher's doorbell repeatedly.

Hill resigned from Lubbock ISD and is currently seeking other teaching opportunities in the area.
