Senate Passes School Reform Plan

State lawmakers may be one step closer to passing a school finance reform plan.

Thursday, the Senate approved its finance plan. The measure would lower school property taxes, give teachers a $2,500 pay raise over the next two years and create a teacher incentive program that would average $500 a teacher.
