Duck Derby hosted at Buddy Holly Rec Center

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The legal aid society of Lubbock hosted its fourth Duck Derby and Family Fun Fest.

The event was hosted today at the Buddy Holly Recreation Center, located at 2525 N. University Ave. and started at 11 a.m. The duck adoption, called the drop, started at 2 p.m.

Funds raised from the event go to benefit the Legal Aid Society of Lubbock, which works to give legal assistance to people of low socioeconomic status.
