AAA doesn't believe gas prices will keep Americans home this July 4th weekend. Travelers will be paying on average twenty-four cents more per gallon than they did last year.
Here in Lubbock, it costs an average of $2.08 per gallon. But, you might pay a little less if you're headed out of town. Here's a look at gas prices across the state. It's $2.06 in Dallas, $2.03 in Austin and both San Antonio and Houston are averaging $2.01 per gallon. El Paso is higher at $2.13.
