Grass Fire Probably Started by Cigarette - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A lit cigarette thrown from a passing car is believed to have started a grass fire in North Lubbock County Sunday.

The fire started around 4:45pm near County Road 2641 and FM 179. Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly and prevent it from spreading to a near by house.
