For two weeks they were pushed to the limit mentally and physically, but Sunday it all paid off. Sixty-seven Lubbock teens graduated from this year's Youth Corps.

Not only did the cadets earn $500 for their participation. The 14-to-17 year-olds learned how to handle adversity as well as the traits to become a stronger leader and a team player. The teens will begin service projects in August and average one a month until May.
