On his 19th birthday, the alleged driver in a South Lubbock car chase learned he will go to trial.

A Lubbock Grand Jury indicted David Theodore Salazar, Tuesday, on one count of evading arrest with a motor vehicle. Authorities arrested Salazar on May 20th, following a 30 minute car and foot chase. The chase began on Highway 114 and ended in the 4300 Block of 97th Street.
