Two Attempt To Rob Deaf Woman At Lubbock ATM

She wasn't able to hear them walk-up behind her but a deaf woman was able to fight off the people trying to rob her.

Lubbock Police are looking for a black male and a black female who tried to rob a Hispanic woman at a Bank of America ATM on 50th and Slide. The woman was making a transaction around 1:30 in the afternoon when a jeep pulled up behind her. The female suspect pulled the victim's hair and tried to get her money but witnesses say the victim fought back and the suspects drove away without any money or the ATM card.

Police are now looking for the suspects who were last seen driving east on 50th in a tan or gold Jeep. If you have any information that could help, call Crime Line at 741-1000.
