Old TTU Bookstore Demolished - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

It used to be a place to buy all of your books and Texas Tech T-shirts. But now, what used to be the Texas Tech Bookstore is a pile of rubble.

Texas Tech demolished it's old bookstore this week to make way for a new building. This is where crews will build an $8 million housing facility for the Childhood Development Research Center and the Center for the Study of Addiction. The bookstore is now located in the Student Union building.
