Possible Break in Attempted Kidnapping Case - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Garza County officials have a man in custody that could lead to a break in a Lubbock attempted kidnapping case.

35-year-old Santos Mendoza Hernandez was arrested here in Lubbock Friday on a warrant of indecency with a child from Garza County. Authorities believe Hernandez picked up a juvenile in a red or maroon Blazer on July 2nd.

If you'll recall that is the same type of vehicle Lubbock Police were searching for in an attempted kidnapping that happened in January. Garza County officials tell us they are working with Lubbock Police to uncover any connections.
