Road Work To Cause Delays, Lane Closures - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Road work is causing delays on Quaker Avenue. The two outside south bound lanes on Quaker between 18th and 19th Street are closed. Crews are working on a water main as part of the Marsha Sharp Freeway Project. The lanes are expected to re-open by noon Wednesday.

You can also expect lane closures and delays along Interstate 27 for the next five weeks. Crews are sealing roads and cleaning bridge decks from 50th Street to the airport. Lanes will be closed at various points of the interstate as crews work their way North.
