DPS Troopers Suspect Alcohol, Speed Played Role In Crash

DPS Troopers suspect alcohol and speed played a role in an East Lubbock County accident Tuesday night.

One after one, troopers removed beer cans from a car around 7pm Tuesday near FM 40 and County Road 1729.

Three people were injured when the driver lost control of the car and hit a tree. Troopers say all the injuries were non life-threatening.
